A system was installed at the Ein kerem well #16 Neighborhood of Jerusalem in Israel by Mekorot, the Israeli national Water Company in 2015. The purpose of the system was to replace the existing hypochlorite disinfection system at the well.

The system was a subject of a year long study to determine its performance. The study concluded that:

1 – The system consistently provided 0.4ppm of chlorine as requested to 140 m3/hr well water.

2 – The self cleaning mechanism proved to be efficient, and there was no need to clean the electrodes

3 – Water quality parameters were not negatively affected by the system, and conformed the

The system is in use at the well since the installation.
